HISTORY

Encouraged by an impressive export sales in the first quarter of 1990, thirty (30) small exporters initiated the move to organize themselves with the support of the Department of Trade and Industry - Cebu Provincial Office (DTI-CPO). In 1991, the Cebu Gifts, Toys and Houseware Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Inc. (Cebu-GTH) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The organization’s theme at that time was to “Organize for Growth”. It adopted various program to strengthen the organization and preserve the gains achieved by the sector.
